When the tap handle is in the central position, the water will always start cold, unlike a standard mixer tap where, even in the central position, your boiler will normally fire up each time.

Want hot water? No problem! Just turn the tap handle to the left as you normally would.

Our Eco Start kitchen and bathroom taps save energy by having cold water as the default central start position of the tap handle. Hot water is only called when the tap lever is moved from the central position, so no more firing up your boiler unnecessarily. The UWL estimates a saving of £80 per annum, per Eco Start tap*. So, the more Eco Start taps you have, the more you could be saving on your energy bills.

The long-life ceramic cartridges on each of our Eco Start taps provide added durability and smooth control, with 10-year parts and a 1-year labour guarantee for extra peace of mind. There’s no sacrificing style for substance either as these hard-wearing taps, each with a flawless, scratch-resistant chrome finish, are built to last and will be no match for the day-to-day.
