Community is the beating heart of Bristan - that’s why we’ve created the On Tap Team - installers supporting installers. 

Our installer-to-installer community began when we created the On Tap Facebook Group, which has gone from strength to strength thanks to plumbing business owner Andy Steer, our lead moderator. The group is all about building a friendly community of installers to chat with like-minded people and share top tips and best practice. 

On top of that, installers can stay up to date with the latest Bristan news and product updates and get the chance to take part in exclusive giveaways. 

We’ve now extended our On Tap group to a Team of five community leaders that will offer fresh peer to peer perspectives and ideas from reviewing products, spotting trends to sharing their passion for the trade.

They love their work, they’re brilliant at installation and, of course, they’d love to hear from you. 

ANDY STEER

Our lead moderator, Andy hails from the seaside town of Seaford, East Sussex. Having been in the industry for 42 years, his business A M Steer cater for domestic and commercial customers, and there’s not much Andy hasn’t seen or done when it comes to plumbing. “Ask questions” is Briony’s number one tip when it comes to anyone starting out in the industry, and with 25 years of experience working in Jersey, she’s well placed to advise. JAMES GRIGGS

Having started plumbing through an apprenticeship with a local company, James started J D Griggs Plumbing in south-east Kent in August 2020. His passion for plumbing derived from a taster session in school and he’s not looked back since. In the near future, James sees an increase in smart controls for heating systems and more instant hot water taps.  Read more about James
