Combi boilers are great for reducing energy and space in a home, as there’s no need for a hot and cold-water cylinder and they’re often considered to be the most reliable.

They have a high-pressure water supply and can run from just 1 bar pressure – meaning that combi boilers, can be used with many powerful mixer showers, saving installers and homeowners, money, energy and water.

CAN YOU USE A THERMOSTATIC SHOWER WITH A COMBI BOILER?

The simple answer is – yes. It’s possible to fit a thermostatic shower with a combi boiler and they’re reliable across most thermostatic showers. Mini valve, maxi valve, bar valve and concealed valve showers are all compatible with combi boilers.

The only ones that aren’t compatible are power showers and this is because they contain an in-built pump that is not suitable to be connected to pressurised water supply from the mains.


WHICH THERMOSTATIC SHOWERS CAN YOU USE WITH A COMBI BOILER?
